A NEW OFFER OF HIGH-END CARPETS

The designer J.D. Staron and Nobilis are partnering together to launch J.D. STARON and NOBILIS, a new luxury carpet brand. The Show Room, located 31 rue Bonaparte in Paris, presents the newest classical universe that made J.D. Staron’s reputation in the U.S. Unique artist with a sensational background, Jakub D. Staron selects the right fibers, with noble materials, using ancestral techniques that he re-invents.

Distributed for the first time in France, a first selection among 2500 samples will be increased each year. Destined to interior designers and project managers, this new offer of high-end carpets answers the most customized demands as the most particular projects.

The consistency between the Nobilis style, in evolution, and the singularity of Jakub D. Staron’s universe was obvious, a perfect match of Nobilis’ elegance and J.D. Staron’s quest: beauty and originality.

 

WHO IS JAKUB D. STARON ?

Jakub Staron, is a native of Poland. He holds a Masters Degree in both fine art and weaving. Originally, he worked in London restoring historic rugs and carpets. His move to the U.S. expanded his expertise to include the design and manufacturing of contemporary, traditional, and transitional rugs.

He personally oversees the manufacturing of his products in collaboration with craftsmen throughout the Far East, and maintains long-standing relationships with mills and weavers throughout the world. Staron’s personal goal is to continuously move forward and produce exceptional patterns, designs and methods, not seen before in the carpet making industry.

Jakub strives to be inventive, satisfy the fascination, and meet the demands for high end, individual products. While his work is rooted in history, Jakub mixes traditional elements with the modern to produce unique textures, patterns and distinctive collections that are truly works of art. Staron is the consummate purveyor of exquisite rugs, carpeting and broadloom, all designed with a craftsmen’s skill and a painter’s eye.
